Small to mid-size gatherings (100-ish people) are my sweet spot—think rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, private dinner parties, happy hours, birthdays, or really any reason to raise a glass. If it calls for cocktails and good vibes, I'm in.

Bev's a tiny truck so she fits in most venues and outdoor spaces. If there are location or access concerns, we'll talk through them during planning and find the best setup for your space.
Of course. If you're keeping things low-key or just don't need the full production, I also offer bartender-for-hire services. Same level of service, just a little more pared down.
Sure do. Tastings are a great way to get a sneak peek at your custom menu and make sure every sip is just right. We'll schedule a laid-back session where you can sample, tweak, and settle on your perfect lineup. Plus, it's a fun excuse to hang out and talk cocktails!
Nope, that part's all you (because the law). But don't worry, I'll guide you through exactly what to buy based on your menu and guest count, so you're not stuck staring at a liquor shelf in panic.
Sure do! I provide high-quality disposable glassware, all fresh juices and mixers, garnishes, and plenty of ice to keep things chill. If you're dreaming of real glassware or something extra fancy, we can talk rentals.
You bet. I love creating fun, thoughtful mocktails that feel just as festive as the real thing. Great for kids, non-drinkers, or anyone pacing themselves between margaritas.
Not usually. Bev is fully self-contained and can run without power or water for most events. If your event has special requirements, we'll chat through all that ahead of time.
Yes. I'm a certified bartender through the Maui County Liquor Commission, which means I've met all the requirements to legally and responsibly serve alcohol here on island. It's just one more way I make sure you—and your guests—are in good hands.
Yes. Bona Fide carries full general and liquor liability insurance—so you (and your venue) can rest easy knowing everything's covered.
Yes, I do. To secure your date, I require a 50% deposit at booking.
Final payment is typically due a week before your event. I'll send reminders and make it easy to handle.
Stuff happens. I get it. If you need to cancel, just give me as much notice as possible. Your deposit is non-refundable, but depending on the timeline, I'll do my best to work with you or apply it to a future date.
It's Maui, so we have to plan accordingly. If your event is outdoors, we'll want a Plan B in place (like a covered area or tent). I'll help you think through those details during planning, so we're ready for whatever the skies decide.
We'll chat about your serving hours ahead of time to make sure everything's clear. Out of respect for everyone's safety, liquor service usually ends a bit before the party winds down. But I'll still be around for water, cleanup, and to help wrap things up.
Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. We usually set out a tip jar at the bar in case guests feel inclined to show a little love. If you'd prefer to handle gratuity yourself, it can also be added to your final invoice or taken care of the day-of.
I take health and safety seriously and follow all local guidelines to keep you and your guests comfortable and safe.
We take responsible service very seriously. I'm trained to serve responsibly, keep an eye on guest wellbeing, and make sure nobody overdoes it. We'll go over all our policies for responsible liquor service during the pre-event planning process, and you'll find everything spelled out clearly in the service agreement you'll sign.
