What We Do
bona fide is a mobile cocktail bar on Maui. We design custom cocktail menus for small to mid-size events (usually 100-ish guests max), then we tend bar out of our 1991 Honda Acty kei truck. Every cocktail menu is made from scratch to fit the unique vibe you're looking for.
A good rule of thumb: If the occasion calls for cocktails, call us.

We collaborate
on the cocktails.
We sit down together. We talk through your tastes, your guests, and the feeling you want in the room. Then we build a custom cocktail menu around all of it.
We bring the
cocktail truck.
Her name's Bev. She's our 1991 Honda Acty cocktail truck, and she shows up fully loaded with everything we need to run a great bar, right from the truck.
We run
the bar.
Setup, service, breakdown. It's all covered. Once we're there, you're off duty. We run the bar start to finish so you can be a guest at your own party.
About Morgan
I'm Morgan, and I've been behind the bar my entire adult life. It's where I feel most like myself. There's just something about the process of building a great cocktail that never gets old. And watching someone take that first sip and light up with excitement? That never gets old either.
bona fide is my way of doing that on my own terms. Great drinks, genuine hospitality, and a bar setup I'm genuinely proud of: a 1991 Honda Acty kei truck named Bev that's equal parts functional and adorable.

I've worked alongside Morgan long enough to know she doesn't rattle easily — and our wedding proved it. We had a sketchy forecast hanging over us all week, and she just quietly figured it out. Showed up to Olowalu Plantation House ready for anything, kept the whole evening running smooth, and helped us put together cocktails that actually felt like us — including one named after our dog Duke, who is, let's be honest, the most important member of our family. Having a close friend behind the bar on the biggest night of our lives? There's nothing better.
Every detail of the bar setup at our wedding felt so thoughtful, elegant, and completely us. Morgan brought such a warm, easy presence to the entire day. She did it flawlessly.
I've hired Morgan twice now; she's our go-to bartender for a good time. The cocktails, the truck, the vibe? Everything was spot on. She just gets it.
Two events in with Morgan, and I keep coming back. The cocktails are always dialed in, the truck is a total crowd-pleaser, and the custom cocktail menu she put together for my 40th felt like it was made just for me—because it was. Cannot recommend her enough.
The bar setup was stunning, the drinks were incredible, and the experience was completely seamless. Everyone raved about the truck and how special it made the night feel.
